Our Team

Our Nursing Team

Veterinary technicians (also called “nurses”) play a vital role in the care, safety, and comfort of every hospitalized patient. As in a human hospital, these skilled professionals interface closely with patients and doctors, ensuring that each patient receives expert attention around the clock. We are very proud of the team of caring and highly-skilled veterinary nurses on our staff; we believe they provide the finest level of care available.

Our skilled and compassionate client service team understands the challenges of caring for a sick or injured pet. These talented individuals have elected to work in the veterinary field because they, too, are “animal lovers.” Their goal is to help you and your pet through a difficult time by providing consistently friendly and efficient service.

Our Management Team

Michelle Williams-Longmire

Michelle is our Hospital Director.  Michelle has been in the veterinary field since 2001, working at an East Bay emergency practice before joining us in 2007. Michelle began as a Client Service Representative working in the evening, and over time she transitioned to working during the day. She became our Client Service Manager in 2012, and Hospital Director in 2019. Michelle was born and raised in the Bay Area, and when she’s not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, 3 kids and her career change Guide Dog Kimchi.

Lesley Milstead, RVT

Lesley, an east coast native, moved to San Francisco after college in 1994 and enrolled in a veterinary technology program in 1996. After passing her California RVT board exam in 1997, she immediately took a job as an emergency care technician in the South Bay. She joined PESCM’s emergency and critical care department in July 2006 and stepped into the nursing manager role in October 2014. Providing high quality patient care, excellent client service, and being an active nursing mentor and advocate are of the utmost importance to her.

Mary Ann Cuseo

Mary Ann serves as our hospital’s Administrative Manager, overseeing day-to-day business operations of the entire practice. Mary Ann is both an experienced business professional as well as an animal lover.

Lori Abrahams-Dana, RVT

Lori is a California native and moved to Marin in 1992 after completing the veterinary technology program at Cosumnes River College in Sacramento. As a Registered Veterinary Technician, Lori worked in general practice for a number of years before joining the PESCM team in 1998.
